Adventures in Local Number Portability
I switched to T-Mobile today (out of a 2-year contract), so this was my first attempt to deal with porting a number over. I had both phones lying around, wondering how many days this was going to take...
And then at the stroke of midnight, poof! The Cingular phone turns back into a pumpkin. (Well, lit up with a "SIM Registration Failed" message.) And I’m done. Pretty cool.
